Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms govern your use of ED VentGuide Pro (the "Service"), an educational ventilation reference for healthcare professionals and trainees. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for licensed or in-training healthcare professionals (medical students, residents, physicians, respiratory therapists, and nurses). You must provide accurate registration details. Accounts are personal and must not be shared; sharing credentials may lead to suspension.
2. Accounts and approval
Depending on configuration, new accounts may require administrator approval before activation. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not enter identifiable patient data into any field of the Service.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, scrape the Service, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.
- Do not use the Service to provide direct patient care decisions without independent verification.
4. Subscriptions
Access may require an active subscription activated by the administrator. Subscription duration, price, and features are shown before activation. Access ends when the subscription expires; your saved cases remain associated with your account.
5. Clinical content
Clinical values are aligned with published sources (e.g., ARDSNet, ATS/ESICM guidance, GOLD, GINA, Surviving Sepsis) as of their review dates, but medicine changes and errors are possible. Always verify against current guidelines and your institution's protocols.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for clinical outcomes, decisions made using the Service, or indirect/consequential damages.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms and the Service; material changes will be posted on this page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Contact
Questions: contact the operator via the address provided with your access invitation.
